It took five random trips to find something The Small Toothed Dog. I had to settle on dog.

DOGS SACRIFICED IN WAR EFFORT

The Department of Defense issues an urgent alert last week for dog fur. General Michael Spaniel detailed, "The dog fur is needed as detonation devices on the combat ammunition turret (CAT). The CAT allows us to infilitrate Axis positions that were too strong for us."

The Office of Metropolitan Architecture was the random selection. Of course, there were no photos, but I did find one for metropolitan. It's a cute one. 

Ethel: I like your polka dotted dress. Was it on sale?

Myrna: I don't know. Knuckles gave it to me.

Ethel: Why does he have us pose on typewriters?

Myrna: Something about big business in backrooms. You have to ask him.

Ethel: Backroom? Did you?

Came close this time. The random page was Kispiox, British Columbia, but there was no Kispiox photos. There were tons of British Columbia ones, though.

I have no idea how I got here, but I've made a career out of it. I am a railroad trestle installer. Yes, I'm the manly man who makes sure the wood is assembled properly, accurately and fast. Our goal of connecting Canada with one long railroad is almost finished.

This hasn't been an easy job.

A guy named Sam Lloyd in the random search. He's an actor. Amazingly, there was a photo of those words. A single photo. I don't think this has happened before when the exact random article shows up. 

Last night was an amazing experience. We all went to O'Malleys and had one last drink goodbye. Sam was leaving for the fight in Europe tomorrow and we were headed to divorce court. Sam suggested we all pound a few in honor of his leaving. We shrugged at each other and off we went. 

This time I randomly got the article on Alvan Flanders whose only claim to fame is being a delegate from the Washington territory. Ok. No Alvan Flanders photos, but there was a photo of the Flanders' kitchen in North Dakota. 

The Flanders were a tough, hardy, pioneering family. They settled in the wilderness of North Dakota and brought civilization to the rough winter jungle of the plains. This was not an area that accepted people, nor was it an area to raise a family.
